Once a year the peaceful streets of Geneva are invaded by some of the most powerful and exotic metal in the world.
The Swiss city’s motor show is the blue riband event of the European automotive calendar and this year’s extravaganza, which starts on Thursday, is no exception. Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini will unveil production-ready versions of the fastest and most powerful cars in their history.
Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce will reveal its fastest coupé yet, Bentley its most powerful saloon and McLaren its long-awaited successor to the F1 supercar. But really this is a show for anyone who has expressed the slightest interest in cars, and for whatever reason.
