News: Ken Block takes on Neymar in Footkhana car v footballer video

RALLY-ACE and stunt driver Ken Block pits his foot-pedalling skills against the footballing talents of Brazilian forward Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior (Neymar to the world) who plays for Barcelona.

You’ve got to feel for the footballer’s lungs as Block tyre-burns ever-decreasing circles around him, and there are moments when, amid the smoke and mayhem, you wonder what on earth is going on.

However, as a display of precision wheel and ball control, it’s seriously impressive and is, almost, enough for us to forgive the film its mangled “Footkhana” title, a reference to Block’s Gymkhana stunt-driving series.

It concludes with the traditional exchange of shirts or in Block’s case, overalls (mercifully, a spare set he remembered to bring).
