BBC captures car crash outside Ant McPartlin's car crash court hearing
Police were on the scene in seconds
THE BBC captured a three-car crash outside the magistrates court that was hearing the Ant McPartlin drink driving case.
As the reporter was going through the news from inside Wimbledon Magistrates Court, a Nissan Qashqai was rear-ended by another car and pushed into a white van that it was waiting behind.

The reporter spun her head around upon hearing the crash and apologised for breaking her flow, saying, “Excuse me, sorry, just some cars have just had a bit of a crash behind us.”

At least there were police witnesses and video evidence, which should make the insurance claim fairly straightforward.
McPartlin has been banned from driving and fined for a drink driving crash that took place last month.
