FIAT’S 500 has been such a hit that — aside from the Panda — the company’s strategy now is to give every new car bug eyes and a 500 badge.
The range already stretches from the original city car to a seven-seat MPV. The new 500X crossover slots into the middle. Designed to be more stylish than other European people carriers and more subtle than zany Asian rivals such as the Nissan Juke and Kia Soul, it’s the car that Fiat hopes will crack the American market.
