News: Volkswagen offers used car buyers a tempting deal on the Golf

“THE VW Golf is practical, fun, fast and reasonably affordable to buy and run. It is also as close to being a classless car as there is today.” So said Driving of the Golf in its Top 100 Cars buying guide, and the good news is that Volkswagen is making it more affordable for used-car buyers.

For this week only all VW Golf Mk 7s in S or SE trim bought on Volkswagen Financial Services’ Solutions personal contract plan will be available with a £500 deposit contribution, free servicing for three years and a three-year warranty from the date you buy the car.

Driving found a 2013 VW Golf 1.2 TSI S five-door model with around 13,000 miles on the clock for £11,990 from a Volkswagen dealer – a saving of nearly £6,000 over a brand new version – which is typical of the used Golfs available.
