HAVE YOU given up on that dream of owning a Rolls-Royce? Don’t be so hasty; Microsoft has just thrown you a lifeline, albeit a virtual one, with news that the Rolls-Royce Wraith is now available to download for Forza Motorsport 5 on Xbox One. And it won’t cost you £220,000, either… you can drive away a digital version for free.

Players can drive the car, of course, allowing them to sample the effortless 624bhp delivered by the 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine and its Satellite Aided Transmission, which uses GPS data to ensure the engine is always in the correct gear for the upcoming corner.
Part of the fun, however, will be the chance to pore over the sumptuous leather-clad and Canadel wood panelled interior thanks to Forza’s trademark highly realistic graphics engine. The Forza models even include Rolls’s extravagant Starlight Headliner, which comprises more than 1,340 fibre optic lamps.
“We are delighted to mark a first in video game history by introducing Wraith, the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever made, into Forza Motorsport 5,” said Marc Mielau, Rolls-Royce Cars’s general manager of marketing. “The game will provide players with a new level of excitement by exploring the iconic features of Wraith.”
