Sir Peter Blake-designed Bentley to be auctioned for charity at Goodwood
Pop Art pioneer creates garish Continental GT Convertible
AS MODIFIED cars go, Sir Peter Blake’s new Bentley Continental GT is one of the most striking examples yet.
The artist, who is considered one of the godfathers of Pop Art and perhaps best known for co-creating the sleeve design for the Beatles’ album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, was commissioned by the British luxury car brand to create a one-off Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible to be auctioned for charity.
The Peter Blake Bentley will be auctioned by Bonhams at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 24.
