Guard shoots pick-up truck's tyres in road rage incident

A SECURITY guard was spotted firing live shots at a pick-up truck’s tyres, as a road rage incident on a busy Texas crossroads quickly got out of control.
Caught on camera by a nearby road user, the incident is alleged to have occurred after the driver of a red pick up truck collided with another car. The security guard attempted to diffuse the situation – then shot at the truck’s tyres as the driver attempted to flee.
Local reports claim the brief shooting was partly triggered by the truck driver refusing to hand over insurance documents for the vehicle. Matters were made worse when the truck driver wound the window up as the security official himself reached inside for the documents.

In the same local reports, the Houston Police Department confirmed it was investigating the incident.
