Rally driver shows sublime car control in Porsche 911 GT3 RS
90 seconds of pure Porsche awesomeness
IT’S BEEN many a moon since the last works Porsche took to a rally stage, but privateer entrants have shown time and again the rear-engined Porsche 911 is mighty fine on twisty rally routes.
Case in point: driver Ivan Ares, who’s currently defending his title in the Spanish Rally Championship, tackling the Subida al Fito hill climb in northern Spain.
The video of Ares threading his rally-spec 911 GT3 RS along the narrow road route in 2016 was recently uploaded to YouTube, giving us the chance to marvel at his supreme skill.
Click the play button above, sit back and marvel at his on-the-limit antics.
